Bandipur Adventure Camp is one of the best camping grounds of Nepal with spectacular view of Marshangdi Valley along with 180 degrees Himalayan panorama including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Ganesh and Langtang. This adventure camp is built around an ancient fort, on top of the northern cliffs of Bandipur, along with ancient Magar villages Silthok and Baralthok. It is a historical view point of Bandipur.

The camp is just 15 minutes uphill hike from Bandipur Bazaar, on the way to Gumba (Monastery) and Gufa (Cave). It is also accessible by a seasonal road along the Bandipur ring road via Tundikhel and Hospital.

 

    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Facilities

Along with hill top camping ground with 360 degrees view, the camp also provides big safari tents with comfortable beds and electricity. Water and Sanitation services are provided separately in a common facility. There are 10 safari tents, each with quadruple (4 sharing) accommodation facility. Each tent is built on a separate terraced ground with its own flower garden, stone table and folding chairs. These tents are on a stone platform covered by open thatched huts.

 

Quality food and service is an important part of Bandipur Adventure Camp. The restaurant is open for 16 hours every day and provides varieties of tasty western and local cuisines. We bake our own bread, barbeque in natural firewood and even grow some organic herbs and vegetables. The Kitchen is open, clean, hygienic and supported by well experienced staff. This only building in the camp can host more the 50 guests at a time. Along with good food, the restaurant also offers amazing homemade beverages.
